The Giza Pyramids. Haunted + Aliens or just superstition?
We all know about the popularity of these beautiful pyramids since we were little, and I have always admired them for being such beautiful and profound structures that seemed to try to engage the heavens with earth, as well as the world of the living and the world of the dead. The ancient Egypt is very famous for their rites and celebrations to death, and this is reflected in some of the first mummification techniques created by humans, as well as the elaboration of the book of the death where they specified the instructions to be followed in the after life when facing different gods in the underworld.
One of my dreams is to be able to travel and see and touch with my own hands those walls full of history and take thousands of pictures, but now that I think about it, I cannot picture myself walking through Giza during the night (because I’m a chickenshit creating a blog of scary things so I can think I’m a brave person). But honestly, would you go on a walk during the night at Giza? If you have had the chance of doing it, or you would like to, I can wait to hear from your opinion! All of these thoughts brought me to ask myself if the Giza Pyramids might be haunted, and so, I searched through the internet to know about it, and this is what I have found…
Garuvah Gupta wrote an article on his blog Travel Triangle about the 10 most haunted places on Egypt, and he described the Giza Pyramids as one of the most haunted places of the entire country. There are some reports of people that have seeing floating and walking ghosts, some of them dressed as the early 1900’s. we could assume that this might be connected with the fact of the boom of exploration of the ancient Egypt between the 1800s and the 1900s, where there was several accidents and deaths from the people involved on the excavations.
The Cairo Scene Blog describes that there are many eye witness of a man and his three children looking for something dressed up in the 1900's fashion style. Other people also report to see a pharaoh scaring them to get away from the tombs. Local people think that it might be the spirit of Khufu, the owner of the biggest pyramid. Khufu seems to appear at night dressed in Egyptian armor telling people to leave. Sankha Bhattacharya at his travel tour Blog dares to describe that there are people that have met Khufu and talked to him as well. And here, we have a picture of a statue of Khufu. He looks intimidating, almost like waiting to slap you as soon as you say something wrong.
There are some videos with creepy phenomenons that have happened in the pyramids of Egypt. This video shows a very large white man walking like he is depressed or tired. More than scary it is just weird. The video explains that this creature was seen also in Turkey. Real or fake? Who knows? Tell me what you think…But I do think he is severely depressed and might need therapy…
I don’t even want to start writing about the association between aliens and Egypt, because I really don’t believe in it. I do believe that the most likely is that we are not alone in the universe, but I am not sure how to connect Aliens with the Giza pyramids. You just have to check out this video, it is so ridiculously fake that is funny! In this video they try to show some inverted pyramids flying on the top of the great pyramids, and everybody around is just chillin, riding their camels and just taking pictures….like nothing is happening. I would be shitting myself!
Also, the following video is another sample of some supposed UFO’s hanging around Egypt….very weird…and silly, it looks so perfect…
There is no doubt that the Giza pyramids are full of magic and mystery, and that some people just create their own fantasies around their history and architecture as a way of connection with another world or dimension. The truth is that there is so much people talking about pharaohs as possible aliens that is exhausting. I don’t know why is so hard to believe that we are capable to built and have extraordinary cognitive capacities to create an empire like the Egyptian was. Anyway, I am still not going to walk at night around the Giza pyramids…
